Healthy Cinnamon Raisin Peanut Butter Krispy Treats

When I strolled by the fridge for my thirtieth spoonful of Cinnamon Raisin Peanut Butter, krispy treats popped into my head! Crunchy, chewy, sweet and satisfying Cinnamon Raisin Peanut Butter Krispy Treats — this is the perfect snack to have on hand for whenever you’re hungry!
These Cinnamon Raisin Peanut Butter Krispy Treats have the perfect amount of cinnamon and every bite is scattered with raisins. The peanut butter brings all the flavors together and you can’t even tell there are chia seeds in here! Perfect for people like me, who don’t like the flavor of chia but love the health benefits.
These krispy treats are SO good, you would NEVER guess that they’re healthy! Full of healthy fats, fiber and protein, and free of refined sugar. These are the perfect treats to have around when you’re craving something sweet but don’t want to indulge in a pound of butter, sugar and artificial ingredients typical storebought desserts!
Healthy Cinnamon Raisin Peanut Butter Krispy Treats
Ingredients
- 5 cups Crispy Brown Rice Cereal
- ⅛ tsp Salt
- ¾ cup Date Syrup
- ½ cup Cinnamon Raisin Chia Seed Peanut Butter
- 1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
- 5 packets Natural Sweetener (stevia, Truvia, etc.)
- 21g (1 scoop) Vanilla Brown Rice Protein Powder
- ⅓ cup Raisins
Instructions
- Line an 8" brownie pan with parchment paper both ways.
- In a large bowl, add the rice krispies and salt.
- In a large microwave-safe bowl, add the date syrup and nut butter. Microwave for 20 seconds, or until softened and slightly warm.
- Stir in the cinnamon and sweetener, then stir in the protein powder. Dump in the rice krispies and fold together.
- Scoop the mixture into the prepared pan and flatten. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Slice and serve!
My sister said that these krispy treats taste like the Iced Oatmeal Raisin Luna Bars! And they do!
You better watch out chocolate, because these krispy treats are kind of my newest favorite thing!

YUM!! These remind me of a rice krispie treat version of oatmeal raisin cookies. It’s hard to go wrong with cinnamon and peanut butter in desserts!

if you are dairy free.. what can you use in substitution of protein powder, because as you probably know, most protein powder has milk protein in it.. thanks
The protein powder I used in this recipe is dairy free (along with gluten free, vegan, sugar free). The SunWarrior is made of brown rice, no whey or casein! 🙂
