Breakfast to the rescuuuuueeee.
Healthy Cranberry Oatmeal
Ingredients
- 1 cup Quick-Cooking Oats
- 2 cups Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk
- 4 packets Natural Sweetener (stevia, Truvia, etc.)
- pinch of Salt
- ¼ cup Fresh Organic Cranberries (dried cranberries will also work)
- 2 tbs Homemade Fruit Paste
Instructions
- In a large microwave-safe bowl, stir together the oats, almond milk, Truvia and salt. Microwave for 3-4 minutes, or until the oats have absorbed most of the liquid.
- Remove the bowl from the microwave, stir in the cranberries, and microwave for 30 seconds. Lastly, stir in the fruit paste.
- Scoop into serving bowls and enjoy!
To create a complete protein, top your oatmeal with your favorites nuts/nut butters (I like adding chopped almonds and/or roasted almond butter). It’s also good with a few spoonfuls of yogurt/Greek yogurt. And, if you’re a huge cranberry fan, sprinkle on some extra cranberries 🙂
Skip the storebought oatmeals prepackaged in those cardboard boxes (that probably have more flavor and more nutrition than the oatmeal itself). Those are super processed, boring and unhealthy.
Homemade oatmeal is tastier and just as easy to make. Did I mention it’s tastier? 😉
