Healthy Banana Protein Pancakes
These Healthy Banana Protein Pancakes are uber light, fluffy, and perfectly sweet. One bite and you won’t be able to tell they’re gluten free, refined sugar free, low fat, and packed with a whopping 22g of protein per serving!
These Banana Protein Pancakes are super easy to make. Easy peasy. And we don’t need the highly refined white sugar or nutritionally deficient white flour to make them either. Here, we’ve got vanilla protein powder and vanilla extract for a vanilla double whammy, an egg for fluffiness, and a fresh banana for all-natural sweetness and to create a moist pancake texture.
Unlike typical pancake recipes out there, these Healthy Banana Protein Pancakes are made without any added sugar, butter or oil, or bleached white flour whatsoever! YASSSSS!
You can always count on a stack of these Banana Protein Pancakes for a fast and filling, energizing breakfast! Or dessert. Or lunch or dinner… 😉
Healthy Banana Protein Pancakes
Ingredients
- 1 large Banana
- 2 large Eggs
- ½ tsp Vanilla Extract
- 68g (¾ cup) Vanilla Whey Protein Powder
- 2 packets Natural Sweetener (stevia, Truvia, etc.)
- ¼ tsp Double-Acting Baking Powder
Instructions
- Spray a nonstick griddle with cooking spray and place over medium/medium-high heat.
- In a small blender (I used my NutriBullet), add the banana, eggs, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth.
- Add the protein powder, sweetener, and baking powder, then blend again.
- Scoop ~¼ cup of the batter onto the griddle. Cook until bubbles no longer appear on the surface and the edges appear dry. Flip and cook the other side. Continue until all the batter is used up. Serve and enjoy!

Sounds delicious, but could you give me a weight or spoon measurement for the natural sweetener (it comes in jars not packets in the uk

Totally making these for dinner tonight 😋 can you recommend a protein powder to make this vegan?
I don’t think these can be vegan because the eggs and whey protein powder are crucial ingredients. I’d recommend making my Banana Buckwheat Pancakes 🙂
Haha, I am SO DOWN to have these pancakes for dinner or dessert. I am hoping I can make this with flax eggs and vegan protein powder to make this recipe vegan!
I’m worried the flax eggs might make these gummy and dense, but it’s worth a shot! 🙂

Hi these pancakes came out delicious thanks! But it only yielded 8 for me being so would the serving size stay the same for the nutrition?
If I got 12 pancakes and you got 8, then the nutrition facts for the same 4-pancake serving size will change. For 4 out of 8 pancakes, the calories will be 285, fat 7.5g, carbs 21g, protein 33g 🙂
Delicious! Thanks for all of your great recipes!!
